Safety Fest is Back!

Grab your gear and get ready to dig into safety this Saturday at Safety Fest! Pioneer Electric, in partnership with Pioneer Communications, is excited to welcome families back to an in-person Safety Fest. This year’s event will take place outside on Grant Street in Ulysses beginning at 10 a.m. A  hot dog lunch will also be served at 11 a.m. The event is free to the public.

“This is the same event that our members know and love,” said Alyssa Hammond, communications specialist for Pioneer Electric. “We’ve modified this year’s event and will be hosting it outside to help protect the health and safety of our members, our booth participants and our employees.”

Businesses have partnered with the event to host safety or health-themed booths that encourage attendees and their families to practice healthy lifestyles. The event will also feature service trucks and tractors.

“The event wouldn’t be complete without a few fun surprises,” said Hammond. “In addition to wonderful booths, Safety Fest will also feature face painting, prizes and giveaways for the younger family members.”

Safety Fest will take place on Saturday, Oct. 2 from 10 a.m. to noon in Ulysses. Families are welcome to attend the event, enjoy a free lunch and possibly take home one of many great prizes including Razor Scooters, Giant Connect Four, and a Nintendo Switch Lite.
