Sunflower Electric Power Corporation is the wholesale power provider to Pioneer Electric. Sunflower Electric is owned by Pioneer Electric and five other electric cooperatives and serves 34 counties in western Kansas.
Kansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. (KEC)
Pioneer Electric is a part of the Kansas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. (KEC). KEC is a statewide service organization for Kansas electric cooperatives.

Kansas Corporation Commission (KCC)
The mission of the Kansas Corporation Commission is to protect public interest through the impartial and efficient resolution of all jurisdictional issues. The KCC regulates rates, service and safety of public utilities, common carriers and motor carriers as well as oil and gas production by protecting correlative rights and environmental resources.

Pioneer Electric is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative. Touchstone Energy is an alliance of 660 cooperatives in 46 states that collectively deliver power to more than 30 million consumers every day. This nation wide network of electric coops is dedicated to bringing added value and benefits to all consumers.
Rural Utilities Service (RUS)
The Rural Utilities Service helps rural utilities expand and extend their service to new rural members through new lines and substations. RUS also helps establish new and vital services. The RUS forges public-private sector partnerships that result in billions of dollars in rural infrastructure development and creates thousands of jobs for the American economy.
National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative (NRTC)
The National Rural Telecommunications Cooperative represents telecom and IT interests of over one thousand rural utilities and affiliates in 46 states. The NRTC helps rural electric and telephone utilities strengthen their businesses with solutions uniquely suited to the needs of rural consumers.
National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (CFC)
The National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation is a privately-owned, non-governmental organization that provides state-of-the-art financial products and business management services to more than 1,050 electric cooperatives across the United States.
National Information Solutions Cooperative (NISC)
National Information Solutions Cooperative is an information technology company that develops and supports software and hardware solutions for their Member/Owners across the nation. NISC provides Pioneer Electric solutions for consumer billing, accounting, engineering and operations, as well as more than 75 other IT solutions.
Cooperative Research Network (CRN)
Pioneer Electric is a member of the Cooperative Research Network. The CRN provides technical tools and business information, research and revenue generating opportunities to electric coops.
