Pioneer Electric’s Board of Trustees Nomination by Petition period closed on July 14. Members interested in running for a seat on the cooperative’s Board in Districts 5,6 and 9 were required to submit completed petition applications.
Pioneer Electric announces the following individuals have completed their petition and will be on the ballot for the 2025 Board of Trustees Election:

David C. Light (Incumbent)
District 6
James N. Bell (Incumbent)
Misty Slemp (Nominee)
Blake A. Wiswell (Nominee)
District 9
Charles E. Milburn (Incumbent)
Pioneer Electric will mail notices of the 81st Annual Meeting to members in August. A ballot, privacy envelope, and return mail envelope will be included for members who wish to vote via mail-in ballot. In-person voting will also be available during the annual meeting on Thursday, September 11, 2025. Registration for the meeting will begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by the business meeting at 6:00 p.m.
